Cllr French has also been working on some design ideas. An estimate for the work is currently being organised with approximately £500 to supply a cherry picker and erect the sign and £40-£50 per print for the sign.

A copy of the proposed signage was handed round for approval including a change to the surround of the signage to green signifying that Claygate is surrounded by Green Belt.

September 2024
- 23-SEP-24: The replacement picture (with its green border) was supposed to be installed yesterday. A cherry-picker vehicle had been booked; parish councillors had been asked to attend to take photos. Today nothing has changed; the old picture is still in place.
October 2024
- 13-OCT-24: A dry Sunday morning provides a good opportunity to get the new image installed.
