ADDRESS: 56 Common Road APPLICATION NUMBER: 2024/0502 PROPOSAL: Part two/part single-storey rear extension. CPC VERDICT: No Objections. No Comments EBC VERDICT: Refuse Planning Permission. The proposed part two/part single-storey rear extension would consist of a flat roof and is not considered to integrate with the host building causing significant harm to the host dwelling and street scene. As such it is not considered that the development would comply with Policy CS17 of the Core Strategy 2011, Policy DM2 of the Development Management Plan 2015 and the Council's Home Extension Companion Guide.

  Sites were confirmed to be in good order with the exception of some pruning being required to the St Leonards Road bed, some brambles need to be cleared along The Firs opposite The Foley pub and a tree overreaching on Glebelands.

AP79 Cllr Marques to send the Clerk a picture of the Glebelands tree so she can decide how best to resolve.
