A Community Garden for Claygate: The Committee’s approaches to The Crown Estate about two plots of land on Coverts Road were not fruitful. Instead, the idea of a community garden is being pursued with BT, the leaseholder of the Exchange site in Hare Lane.

To receive a report from the Environment & Sustainability Group and agree appropriate actions—to include discussing a community garden and whether a grant can be obtained for this and to contact the Crown Estate about the land. |
There is to be a Green Elmbridge networking event at the Holy Trinity Church Hall on Wednesday November 20th. Peter Stevenson will put together a budget for this event (to include hospitality costs) and send it to the Clerk to be approved at the next main Council meeting. |
