Notice of Vacancy of Parish Councillors for the Claygate Parish

Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972

Notice is hereby given that following the resignation of

Deborah Coffey and Tim Freeborn,

Two vacancies exist in the office of Parish Councillor for Claygate Parish Council.

An election to fill the vacancy will be held if within 14 days (not counting a Saturday or Sunday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. Good Friday, or a Bank Holiday) from the date below, a request for an election signed by ten electors for the parish is received by the Proper Officer, Adam Chalmers, Elmbridge Borough Council, Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9SD.

The election will take place not later than 60 days from the date of this notice. If no such notice is given, the Pansh Council will fill the vacancies by co-option.
